Our History

For more than 30 years, Abdul Latif Jameel has been bringing Toyota Genuine Motor Oil to Saudi Arabia, starting in 1988. We added Hyundai engine oils in 2019 — and every milestone since has been about one thing: keeping Toyota, Lexus, and Hyundai engines running at their best.

1991 — Toyota 20W-50 motor oil
1991

ALJOC began distribution with Toyota's 20W-50 motor oil.

2002 — Toyota long life coolant
2002

Toyota introduced a Long Life Coolant to the lineup.

2012 — Toyota 5W-40 oil
2012

Toyota's 5W-40 motor oil joined the range.

2014 — Toyota 10W-40 oil
2014

Toyota's 10W-40 motor oil launched.

2015 — Toyota 4x4 15W-40 oil
2015

Toyota's 4×4 15W-40 motor oil arrived for heavy-duty drivers.

2016 — Toyota 5W-40 oil expanded
2016

Toyota expanded its 5W-40 motor oil lineup.

2018 — New Toyota packaging design
2018

Toyota's oil packaging was redesigned across the range.

2019 — Hyundai engine oils introduced
2019

Hyundai engine oils introduced: 10W-40, 10W-30, 15W-40, 20W-50, ATF SP4, ATF 3.

2020 — Toyota diesel oils, coolant and care range
2020

Toyota diesel oils, long-life coolant, Glass Cleaner, Brake Fluid, and Brake Cleaner launched.

2021 — Toyota Hybrid and Mineral oils
2021

Toyota 0W-20 Hybrid Oil and 10W-30 Mineral Oil enter the lineup.

2022 — Valvoline and Hyundai TOP oils
2022

Valvoline oils, Hyundai TOP 5W-40, Hyundai HD Ultra, and Toyota 5W-30 all launch.

2023 — Toyota Hybrid and Mineral oils continued
2023

Continued rollout of Toyota's Hybrid and Mineral oils across the Kingdom.
